Professionals Programme

The Dalit Foundation awards fellowships to young Dalit professionals in the field of medicine, law, journalism and engineering. Dalit term includes students from other disadvantaged sections, the tribal and the religious minority. The programme has been introduced this year.

 

Criteria for selection: Following are the proposed criteria for selection of fellows.

 

  • Person who has completed Master's studies from the respective field.
  • Person who has strong motivation and record of such initiative during the campus life.
  • Person who is not an office bearer of any political party.
  • Female candidates shall be given priority.

NOTE: The applications for the programme are scrutinised once a year
